To develop for Cooper’s nascent communications training program CONNECT, communication skills programming that would engage in a meaningful and sustainable way, a highly skeptical student population.
Elements of Communication: Presentation, a series of targeted, learner-centered workshops designed to promote students’ school-relevant presentation skills while actively demonstrating the connection between communication skills and school and work success.
In this workshop series, students are taught simple methods for managing nervousness, replacing unconscious behaviors with effective presentation skills, and presenting seamlessly as a team. Students consistently leave with greater confidence and ease in front of an audience.
